How to enter the giveaway

Stop by the library and fill out a giveaway ticket
Giveaway tickets are available at the library. Fill out both sides (don’t forget to select a prize on the back), then drop your ticket into the slot on the gold box. Giveaways are open to everyone and you may fill out one ticket per day, per person.

New! Complete a summer reading log bookmark
Color in the leaves on the log bookmark until you’ve filled them all (240 minutes of reading). Avid readers can submit as many log bookmarks as you can find time to read for! Audiobooks and being read to by someone else all count for this task. Each log bookmark is worth one entry for the giveaway of your choice.

Write a book review
Click here for the online form or stop in the library for a paper form. Submit as many book reviews as you want as each review is worth one entry into the giveaway of your choice.

Read 5 books and get a small prize right away
Fill out a “Summer Reading: 5 Books” slip with 5 books you’ve read this summer and pick out a prize from our summer reading small prizes box! One prize per day, no repeats on titles.

Giveaway Prizes

Thank you to the Friends of the Hatfield Library, The Holly Shed, MLS, and WMLA for sponsoring these prizes!

In order to encourage young readers to engage with books and explore new stories, we like to offer exciting prizes as incentives for their participation. We would be grateful if your business would consider donating a prize for our program. Specifically we’re looking for small giveaway items or gift cards for free goods or services. This is a great opportunity to show your support for the community while promoting your business.

Questions? Contact Jocelyn (kids.hatfieldlibrary@gmail.com) or Eliza (hatfieldpubliclibrary@gmail.com). We are so appreciative of all community support!
