Contact information. If you sign up to receive text messages from us, we will collect your name and phone number in order to send you texts.

We use the personal information we collect to send you text messages about:

• Upcoming events at the library
• Event cancellation or postponement

We may also text to reply to you if you use this service to text the Library.

We Will Not Share Your Personal Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

Please note: we may be legally required to disclose or share your personal information without your consent in some circumstances, for example to comply with a court order or law enforcement. In such circumstances, we will only disclose your personal data if legally obligated to do so.

How to Stop Getting Library Texts

Text STOP to opt out. You can also email us at hatfieldpubliclibrary@gmail.com and let us know you’d like to unsubscribe from Library texts.

Retention of Your Data and Deletion

Your personal information will not be kept longer than is necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected.
