TREVOR The Games Man!

Tuesday, July 12th at 10:30 a.m.

We’re excited to have Hatfield’s own TREVOR The Games Man back for the Summer Reading Program! Come for the parachutes and stilts, stay for the jokes and puns!

After nearly 400 fair and festival appearances, TREVOR was named “ENTERTAINER OF THE MONTH” by County Fairgrounds USA in June 2009. TREVOR was awarded the Austin Miller “CO-OP HERO AWARD” For an Individual in 2016 by River Valley Co-op in Northampton MA for his extensive Co-operative Games work in the Pioneer Valley of Western Mass. And in 2017, after stilt walking in more than 100 parades, TREVOR was voted “BEST CROWD PLEASER” in the Newport Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Newport RI. The Joys of Nature: Oceans of Reptiles

Tuesday, July 19th at 10:30 a.m.

The Joys of Nature, in partnership with Riverside Reptiles, presents Oceans of Reptiles

We think of reptiles as land animals, but what about those that live in or around the ocean? From large snakes like boas and pythons to smaller sea snakes, many snakes can be seen in and around water! But what about lizards? Some are very good swimmers as well! Learn about a variety of reptiles, including crocodilians. Why might they be in the water? What adaptations help them survive in the water, including the ocean, come find out! Learn more about Joy at https://thejoysofnature.com.

Don’t miss meeting some live reptiles up close!

Join us in the field behind the library for this exciting, hands-on performance.

This show is supported in part by a grant from the Hatfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

TREVOR The Games Man is back with Project Ribbon Dancer

Tuesday, August 16th at 10:30 a.m.

We’re excited to have Hatfield’s own TREVOR The Games Man join us a second time to help close out the Summer Reading Program! Come for a demonstration of ribbon dancing, make your own, and then show of your new dance moves.

No matter what TREVOR is doing, you know it’s going to be a whole lot of fun!
