The Hatfield Public Library
|
In 1806 . . .
Residents of Hatfield founded a social library which was housed in residents’ homes.
In 1894 . . .
This collection was moved to the second floor of Dickinson Memorial Hall – gifted to the Town by Samuel H. Dickinson as a fire-proof repository for town records.
Today . . .
History is in your hands – it’s our turn to build on Dickinson’s gift and create a library for the next 100 years.
Dedicated citizens have been working hard to create a plan for a library that will meet our community’s needs. Now we need your support!
